Telling Stories Through the Lens: My Freelance Journey with Rock City Church

s a freelance photographer for Rock City Church, my role is to capture the heart of the church during key moments and events. While I’m not there every Sunday, I have the privilege of documenting the special experiences that define the church community. Whether it’s photographing the energy of worship or the authentic connections between people, my goal is to create images that reflect the spirit of Rock City.

One of the most meaningful events I capture is Night to Shine, a prom night for individuals with special needs. It's a night filled with joy, love, and inclusion, and I’m honored to document those moments of celebration and belonging. From the excitement of the red carpet to the laughter on the dance floor, my photos tell the story of a community coming together.

Baptisms are another important moment I capture, preserving the transformation and joy of this life-changing decision. Each photo becomes a lasting reminder of someone's faith journey shared with the church community.
