How I Support the Tennessee Titans

Game day at the Tennessee Titans is fast-paced, and my role as a remote photo editor is all about speed and precision. From real-time photo editing and using custom presets to ensure consistency, to renaming files and adding metadata for easy access, I help the social media, PR, and web teams get high-quality content out to fans quickly. While I mostly work remotely, I occasionally head to the stadium in person to support the team. Collaboration is key, and by working seamlessly with the team, I ensure that the Titans' visual content stands out while maintaining a smooth workflow. This behind-the-scenes support is crucial for delivering images that resonate with fans and keep the brand strong across platforms.

Here’s a look at how I help make this happen:

1. Real-Time Photo Editing on Game Day

Game day is all about speed and accuracy when it comes to getting content out quickly for fans and media. While the photographers are busy capturing every crucial moment of the game, I’m working behind the scenes, remotely editing the images in real-time.

The goal is to make sure that the Titans' social media, website, and PR teams have high-quality images they can post or use for other purposes as quickly as possible. Whether it’s action shots, team photos, or fan reactions, I ensure these images are ready to go with minimal turnaround time.

2. Editing Presets and Metadata for Consistency

To speed up the editing process while maintaining quality, I use custom editing presets that ensure consistency across all images. This is crucial because consistency in visual content is key to maintaining the brand's aesthetic across platforms.

I also add important metadata to each image, like keywords, team names, and event details, making it easier for the social media and web teams to quickly find and use images when needed.

3. Renaming Files for Easy Access

Another big part of my role is renaming files for quick retrieval. After editing the images, I rename them with standardized formats that are easy for the social media, web, and PR teams to understand. This simple step helps everyone stay organized and ensures the right image is used at the right time without any confusion.

For example, images might be renamed with specific game codes, and dates (e.g., "Titans_vs_Jaguars_0124_1234") to make it easy to find and share them quickly across different departments.

4. Collaborating with the Team

While I may be remote, communication is key. I regularly check in with the photographers, social media team, and PR team to ensure I’m on the same page with their needs. Whether it’s adjusting the speed of the editing process or understanding the key moments they want to highlight, collaborating with everyone ensures that we’re all working towards the same goal: delivering the best content for the fans.

5. Supporting Multiple Teams at Once

Game day isn’t just about getting images to social media. The web and PR teams rely on these images for press releases, website updates, and promotional content. By supporting all these teams with real-time edits, renaming, and metadata, I’m helping ensure the Titans have a seamless process in place to manage and distribute their content to fans and media outlets alike.

The Big Picture

While I may not be physically at the stadium, I still feel like an integral part of the game-day experience. My remote role as a photo editor supports the Tennessee Titans in ensuring that their visual content is out there quickly and at the highest quality possible. In a fast-paced, high-stakes environment like game day, the work I do behind the scenes helps bring the action to the fans in real-time. It's a unique and rewarding role, and I'm proud to play a small part in the Titans’ success.

Whether you're a photographer, editor, or content manager, the behind-the-scenes work in visual content creation is essential to making sure the public sees what’s happening in the moment. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with such a dynamic team, and I’m excited to continue helping the Tennessee Titans elevate their visual storytelling for their fans.
